About Carolina Moon Flowers
Hello I'm Sue and Carolina Moon is the name of my flowery business.
Based in County Durham near the border with Northumberland and Gateshead I love to grow and harvest seasonal flowers and foliage as an alternative to flowers which have been flown in or shipped from abroad. I strive to grow in an environmentally friendly way without reliance on pesticides. I try to use feeds which are made using compost teas to help the soil and plants thrive.
Working with the seasons my aim is to bring you a colourful and fragrant selection of British garden favourites. Dried grasses and interesting flower seed pods also add wonderful textural elements to my selections.
I take pride in supplying local flowers for local people as well as wholesale flowers and foliage for florists and floral designers.
Local Flowers
My seasonal flowers and foliage are available from April to October from a range of local florists. Please contact me to find your nearest local supplier.
Occasionally I may have a selection of flowers available to sell by the bunch for local collection or delivery. These will be advertised on social media when they are available.
